Information for law enforcement
How to send GreenRoom a legal request.
Sending a request
Use the contact form, choose the business topic, and start your message with the words Law enforcement request. Include your name, agency, badge or case number, a way to reach you, and the account, username or content you are asking about. Attach or describe the legal process you are relying on.
Preservation requests
On a valid request under 18 U.S.C. 2703(f) we preserve the named account's data for 90 days while you obtain legal process. Preserving means freezing a copy. We don't delete it in that time.
What information exists
- Account details: name, username and email address.
- Optional profile details the person chose to add (phone, address, location, instruments, bio, links, photo).
- Band content: events, availability, setlists, songs, gear, tasks, notes, comments and uploaded files.
- Sign-in and security records, including IP address and browser type, kept for 180 days.
- Daily database backups, kept for 14 days.
We do not hold payment card numbers; payments are handled by our payment processor.
How we respond
We respond to valid legal process. We may tell the person that their information was requested unless the law or a court order stops us, or unless doing so would put someone at risk. Emergency requests involving a risk of death or serious injury: say so at the start of your message.
This page is not legal advice and is not a promise to disclose anything without proper process.
